Well here we are, 3/4 of the way through 2011 and I am writing my first blog, ever. It has to start somewhere, right? So please bear with me as hopefully the site and my writing will evolve as we move forward.
I find that I really have two major interests, sports and stocks. So I figure I should start writing about it. As for the name... well Calls = Call Options and Balls = Sports. Pretty catchy huh? :)
I am no expert in either field nor will I ever claim to be. Just a normal guy who likes to soak up as much info as I can on both topics. So I may touch on a trading book I have read, the latest game I just watched, maybe throw some fantasy football in there as well. I hope you enjoy.
I just got done watching my Dbacks take game 4 of the NLDS and now move on to Milwaukee for Game 5 on Friday. It should be a great game. As unreal as it sounds, the Dbacks have hit a grand slam in each of their last 4 home games. Ryan Roberts hit one in the bottom of the first tonight.
